Fuentes: Conversacion y Grammar Book

This flexible, two-volume program for courses in intermediate Spanish features a student-centered, integrated-skills approach that emphasizes the development of all four skills and an appreciation of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. In the Second Edition, the two volumes are more closely correlated by language functions, vocabulary, and cultural themes. The two volumes of Fuentes may be used together or independently to reinforce and develop students' linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness. Conversación y gramática focuses on the development of listening and speaking skills and presents a functionally sequenced grammar review and expansion that builds on first-year concepts. With an emphasis on the development of reading and writing skills, Lectura y redacción contains thematic and authentic selections in a variety of genres, exposing students to the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
