"The Rainbow Promise" was a refreshing read in that it had nothing to do with boyfriends, peer struggles, etc. and the characters openly used God's Word.
I understand this was written years ago when Becky was a teen, and she shows great promise as an author! There were some discrepancies but overall, the story flowed and kept my interest through the novella.
The one thing I didn't particularly care for was when the girls claimed promises that weren't necessarily in God's Word. Like, "He promised me that we'd have a fun time" when one cannot back that up with Scripture. This is just a personal pet peeve of mine when talking about God's will and His promises.
I received this book in a book exchange, but was not required to leave a review.
