Never satisfied Book

An ex-boyfriend gave me this book a long time ago, shortly after we broke up. He wasn't trying to send me any kind of ulterior message, I promise. But he was pointing out one of the basic characteristics of my personality: I'm always looking Elsewhere, Anywhere But Here, as the exciting place to be. (This was much more true in my twenties, by the way, than now, but it's true that I'm always agitating to go somewhere else, live somewhere more exciting, etc.) I love the concept of this book and since I haven't read it in years, I thought I'd check it out again. I still love it. In the book, two children are walking and one of them keeps saying how nothing ever happens here. In the background, of course, LOTS of exciting things keep happening'but the kids don't notice because they're so focused on believing that nothing exciting happens here.
