The St John-Duras series takes us all across Europe introducing us to the St. John and Duras families. Book 1 starts off with Sinjin St. John, the Duke of Seth one of the most provoking alpha heroes - ever!!! Book 3 in series then continues with the Duras family. General Andre Duras was a side character in book 2 and he is also a very strong, memorable hero.
Susan Johnson aka C.C. Gibbs, is published by different publishers in the US and UK, hence the different titles and covers.

We first met Beau St. Jules, the Earl of Rochefort, as a child in book 1. His father is Sinjin's St. John, the most non-committal alpha hero ever. To sum Beau up I'd say he is the "jaded alpha male playBOY hero". He's 23 years old and the world is at his feet.
SERENA BLYTHE:
24 years/blond hair/aquamarine eyes/virgin.
When Serena Blythe sneaks on board Beau's luxury yacht they are trapped together for the voyage. What else is a young libertine to do, but seduce her? Days upon days of sizzling sex.
However Beau is on a clandestine mission, he has a dangerous job to do and the last thing he needs is an entanglement. It's year 1800 and Napoleon is sweeping Europe. Beau and Serena's story is full of suspense and intrigue and before we know it Serena is put behind enemy lines.

It's wonderful to get to read about Sinjin and Chelsea (book 1) again. Also in this book, as a significant side character, we are introduced to the legendary General Andre Massena who in book 3 becomes General Andre Duras (last name changed to allow literary license).
