Behind closed doors Book

I was waiting for it, and Francine Pascal finally delivered! At long last, in the delightfully dramatic Sweet Valley University series, a student-teacher romance has been written! I won't give you any spoilers'although you can probably guess who it involves'but the set-up and meet-cute of the two characters is fantastic. And, as usual, Francine Pascal writes an extremely yummy, likable romantic male lead who's easy to root for.

Behind Closed Doors is a very interesting volume, as it deals with natural college dilemmas that carry their own drama. Winston falls behind in his grades because he's spending too much time with his girlfriend, both Jessica and Elizabeth are having relationship problems, and Lila deals with the transition of moving off campus. No extra gravitas is added to this part of the story. Sometimes these books tend to mirror a soap opera, but this one is very realistic and accessible. If there's a person out there who managed to finish college without getting a crush on her teacher, spending the night at a party instead of in the library, or worried more about her off-campus life than her on-campus life, I haven't met her. Everyone else will get very attached to this volume in the series.
