A Short History of Structural Linguistics Book

An excellent book overall. I really enjoyed reading it, and I certainly benefited a lot from the amount of information presented on the history of Structuralism and its relation with other competing approaches to language study.
The only thing you should be aware of before starting to read this book is the author's style of writing. I found it to be a little bit difficult since the writer sometimes tries to complicate things that could otherwise be stated via simple descriptions.
