Lord of the Night Book

This was the first book by author CM that I have read. I found it to be an enthralling read, and I didn't expect it to capture my intrigue the way it did.

Jaime is a character that I found interesting in the sense that he wasn't afraid to step into a challenge if it assisted him in his quest for revenge from a wrongful death of his father, and to regain what was rightfully his.

Lady Aleta sweeps into his life and changes his aspect of love, as he never expects to feel the emotions for a woman that he feels with Aleta. And so begins an adventurous drama filled steamy passion, lust, desire and love.

This story is worth wile delving into if you enjoy a typical historical romance with a sexy hero male figure (yum yum) and his love interest, adventure aplenty, and a villain with an added twist is thrown in to keep you intrigued till the end!!
