Algic researches
This is the story of friendship and betrayal. Two friends go off in search of enemies and find eagles. White Hawk betrays his friend Tall Bear because they love the same woman. In the end Tall Bear is raised by the eagles. Tall Bear returns to his camp and marries the woman, Red Leaf, that White Hawk tried to be with first. I didn't really like this book as much. It does show how betraying a friendship and being selfish gets you nowhere in life, but it is not really a story for younger children. It is not something that they can really relate to.
