Arrogant Armies
It's useful to see where the great and not-so-great have slipped and fallen. This book also made me reconsider Teddy Roosevelt a little (but only a little). My biggest complaint is that the book had little artwork at all, and no maps or diagrams. The author has good powers of description, but visual aides are still important when describing battles and dispersal of forces.
