Intermediate Accounting Book

I will be the first one to admit that I hate accounting. Having said that, I really enjoyed this text for the most part. I very much liked the Connect program that came with it. I felt it really helped me to understand the concepts of accounting and practice them in a helpful way. What I did not like about this text were some of the explanations for certain accounting practices. For example, I did not feel the text adequatly explained how to calculate income tax. I was eventually able to extract how to do it from the text by applying a few different principals. However, I felt overall it was a bit lacking. Despite this, I would highly recommend this text for any student beginning to study accounting.
