Borderline patients
This book's main endeavor was to show that transference is underutilized and should be expanded in it's definition. It should not be seen only as a a distortion of the present situation, but also include analyzing the client's associations and experiences of the analytic setting itself (including the therapist). It is a nice example of the beginning of a movement towards a more relational field, and an example of a Freudian take on the relational movement. While reading this i had many thoughts regarding Freud, who as always, is the most fascinating and confusing psychoanalyst to ever live.
