Lebron James: King of the Court Book

A great book illustrating the achievements and substantial talent of LeBron James. LeBron James was born in 1984, in Akron, Ohio. He was raised by his mother and two uncles. LeBron never met his father. LeBron's family struggled financially and moved several times which meant changing many schools and friends. LeBron loved sports at a young age, particularly basketball and football. At age 12, he joined the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), which is a nationwide league for top athletes of all sports. In high school he and his three closet friends and teammates went to a private school, St. Vincent-St. Mary. LeBron stuck out immediately as being the best player on the team. During his sophomore year, he had the bests sophomore season of any student in Ohio. He won may awards for athletics during high school and dawned the cover of Sports Illustrated in 2002 where the magazine called him the "chosen one" of high school basketball. Straight out of high school, LeBron was the #1 draft pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He soon accepted an offer from Nike, and the millions of dollars started rolling in. In 2004, he won Rookie of the Year, the youngest player to ever receive it. He later played in the 2004 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal. He would later win a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Despite his many achievements, LeBron has never let fame affect who he is. He is the ultimate team player who never acts like he's better than anyone else on the team. This book was written before LeBron joined the Miami Heat, where he won two championships and then came back to the Cleveland Cavaliers where he won 2016 Championship.
