The Kids' question & answer book
Not ever having studied much biology I'm not going to say it was an easy read. But damn I got everything I could have wanted for the extra effort it took to go through it. I think the article format works well. Nothing is super indepth but you get a set of snapshots of how different lifeforms have adapted to this world.
Maybe some of the stuff is totally outdated, but its just interesting, actually amazing to read how life has adapted on this earth. Highly recommended to anyone who is willing to put a little work into their reading time.
