Witch of the Palo Duro
I read this book only because my local library suggested it. I had a very hard time reading the story because of the way that it was written. I wanted to finish the book and endured because of the contest at my library. If not for that I would have returned it after the first chapter. Overall the story itself was fine. There were a good number of complex characters but I feel that it was written poorly. I also do not have much interest in Native American culture. I have been to the Palo Duro Canyon and thought that fact might have helped along the story but it did not.
