This book was way better than H.N.I.C. Am I Black Enough discusses popular cultural production and a class analysis that caused them to create gangsta, as a means of upward mobility but also the class position of the people who owns the means of production leads to further exploitation of the disadvantaged who got rich from their producing of gangsta culture. He also extends the discussion and talked about sports, mainly basketball to say how sports have become main stays in popular culture.
