I stood in B&N reading this book and a single, silent tear escaped down my cheek. I wasn't even pregnant at the time. Now, two babies later, the book touches me in places that it couldn't when I first read it, simply because I had never been there.
"You are my first wish...." every time I read that line to my son as he squirms in my lap, my eyes still well with tears. The book will, hopefully, one day convey the things to him that I cannot so eloquently say.
