I loved this ABC book! I thought that the illustrations perfectly complimented the story and that the rhymes were extremely well executed. The book follows the narrators little sister as she hugs different animals starting different with the different letters of the alphabet; for example, "my little sister hugged a cow, a deer, an ell, a ferret..." all the way through the alphabet. It was a great way of showing the letters of the alphabet and the "hugging spree" is a very cute way of doing it. It was the perfect combination of cute and goofy and I can't think of a child who wouldn't love being read or reading it.
