Billy the Great Book

This is a lovely little story about Big Pig doing a job and Little Pig following in his footsteps. But what is delightful is that Little Pig does his work in a grander way than Big Pig. In the end, they are both happy with what they made. Really well done illustrations. Worth reading more than once, especially to see how the illustrations might tell how the story will continue to move forward. The activity at the end didn't impress me. It doesn't seem to further young people's ability to read well or interpret the story well.

Es un cuento precioso sobre una obra que hace Cerdo, y Cerdito sigue con un trabajo similar. Es hermoso que Cerdito hace su obra en una manera más amplia que Cerdo. Al fin, los dos están contentos con su trabajo. Las ilustraciones son muy buenas. Pienso que vale leerlo más de una vez. Se puede ver como los dibujos dan pistas a que va a ocurrir en el cuento. La actividad en la parte posterior del libro no es impresionante. No parece ampliar las habilidades de los lectores principiantes a leer bien o interpretar el cuento bien.
