The look-it-up book of explorers Book

This book covers early explorers all the way to the modern day explorers like Jacques Cousteau. It does not overlap with any of the explorers in the book Explorers of the Ancient World which covers Pre-Roman explorers. I liked that the book gave approximately two pages of information on each explorer and continued with more modern explorers usually ignored by history. I learned enough about some women explorers to motivate me to search for books devoted to their adventures. It divides the explorers into geographical location so that they are seen in context with other explorers of the same place which also allows other explorers to be acknowledged for little-known but no less important discoveries in other regions.
