Skyscraper
This book is about the making of skyscrapers. It discusses how it takes thousands of people doing over 300 different jobs to make the building. Some jobs include the architect, engineer, and construction workers. There is a lot of hard work that goes into this process. I liked how there is a glossary included in the back of the book which will help young readers to learn new words and understand what they have read. There are also great pictures to show the process of building a skyscraper. This would be great to use in the classroom when talking about careers and what certain jobs do or talking about building.
