This Car
Lovely, detailed illustrations and simple text are used to describe all sorts of cars. Each two page spread describes cars with opposite attributes, so this can be used a concept book (This car is short, this car is long...this car is old, this car is new...this car has a closed top, this car has an open top, etc.) My storytime audience loved this one, engaging in naming the attribute of the second car of each series. They especially loved the moon rover (with no lights) and the Police cruiser (with many lights).
