The Private Eye and Beguiled Book

I bought this book for The Private Eye but it also contains a good book by Lori Foster called Beguiled.

The Private Eye: Once again Ms. Krentz has created a believable male in the guise of Josh January who is so completely clueless when it comes to romantic gestures that you have to laugh at his complete incompetence while trying to entice Maggie Gladstone as they pursue the mystery of the unexplained accidents occurring at Maggie's B&B. Permanent residents, Odessa, Shirley, and the Colonel, are great additions to the plot. This was my fourth time through and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

Beguiled: An interesting perspective of the plotline where one twin takes the place of the other, only in this case one of the twins has died. The relationship between Dane and his twin's cast-off lover, Angel, is both rocky and smooth, a roller-coaster ride of emotions. Mick, Celia, and Alec make a great supporting cast. The action is fast-paced and keeps the reader on his/her toes throughout.
