Author Biography: Debbie S. Miller, author of A Caribou Journey and A Polar Bear Journey, lives with her husband, Dennis, and their two daughters, Robin and Casey, in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Jon Van Zyle, who also collaborated with Debbie S. Miller on A Caribou Journey and A Polar Bear Journey, has been the official Iditarod artist since 1979. He lives in Eagle River, Alaska, with his wife, Jona, and all of their happy huskies.
