Family Law in a Nutshell
Al principio este libro me estaba gustando. Pero la verdad es que lo que más me estaba llamando la atención era su gran parecido con Dream Man de Linda Howard. Las comparaciones son odiosas y al final no sale ganando. Incluso comprobé las fechas de publicación y todo. Pero no, éste es anterior.
Ya he leÃdo otros libros de esta escritora y no me parecieron tan malos como éste. Además, tengo varios problemas con él:
- El protagonista masculino me cae bastante mal y no me gusta como trata a la protagonista.
- La parte de suspense es bastante floja. Pero mucho. No se trata apenas la investigación del caso. Los niños secuestrados es como si no existieran. Y esto último podrÃa ser un punto aparte.
- La insensibilidad y egoÃsmo de los personajes principales. Ella se supone que tiene un gato. Bueno, entran en su casa, se la destrozan y el animal es sólo mencionado cuando se explica que se lo llevan a otro sitio para que no se quede solo allÃ. Menos mal. FaltarÃa más. Tengo gatos y perros. Alguien entra en mi casa mientras están ellos solos y me da algo. Lo primero que harÃa serÃa buscarlos y comprobar que están bien. Creo que no es nada extraordinario. Es un rasgo que considero tÃpico de una persona normal. Por eso da la sensación durante toda la historia que tanto él como ella son muy egoÃstas y viven en una burbuja. O que son dos personajes de un libro mal escrito. No parecen reales. Lo de los niños secuestrados es que es de órdago. A lo largo de la trama, no se aprecia urgencia alguna por encontrarlos. Muy fuerte todo.
Estos son algunos. Me dejo otros sin comentar porque ya me estarÃa ensañando.
