Land Use, Cases and Materials Book

The 6th edition is a major update with new cases, notes and commentary in all subjects. Significantly, it is also an expansion to new areas of land use regulation that make the book more modern and comprehensive than its competitors. New topics include a chapter on Global Warming, Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Renewable Solar and Wind Energy, Rainwater Capture and Conservation, and Green Development Standards; a new section on Zoning Litigation, which covers ripeness, finality and exhaustion of remedies, standing, statutes of limitations, and judicial review. There is also a new section on hillside preservation as well as a new section on federal and state transportation and regional land use plans to control urban sprawl. Commentary on intergovernmental conflicts and judicial takings is also included.
