The 1910s
I'm not a real history buff, when I was in school history bored me and I could never remember all those dates. As I get older though history has more meaning, after all, a lot of my memories now are "ancient history" to my kids and definitely to my grandkids. Over the years I have developed an interest in the Victorian age and also the time of the Great Depression. I found The 1910s a good way to "study" history. For one thing you know all the dates! The way this book is divided up into sections such as Advertising, Architecture, Fashion, Food, Literature, etc was easy to digest. Also if you had absolutely no interest in a subject you could skip it or just skim through it. I would recommend this book to people that are interested in the decade (1910s) or someone that is interested in a particular subject of that decade. (Of course, history buffs would enjoy it too.)
