Contemporary economic issues Book

This volume is a collection of eight essays which have been grouped into two categories: trade, and payments and debt. Altogether they provide a thorough overview of the key' topics of research in these areas. Part one addresses current thinking in new economic geography of the spatial configuration of economic activities, impacts of international trading and the technological determinants of trade. Part two examines the pattern of debt crises and subsequent economic recovery.
