The Holy Spirit: A Comprehensive Study of the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit Book

I find many of these LifeBuilder studies to be shallow, insubstantial and pietistic, but somewhat ironically this study, which looks at aspects of the work and gifts of the Spirit, has a Biblical and theological depth, and a practical application that many books 5 times its length do not have. It repays to read the "Leaders Notes" at the end, but the basic studies themselves enter into practical areas that most other "charismatic" studies rarely do, including issues of social jusctice. It is missional in mindset, long before that word was coined, or at least became a buzzword.
