A History of New York
Primarily photos of daily life in the lost Swift River Valley towns. They are haunting in a number of ways, especially the implications of what was to come in some of the photos and the glimpses of the time between disincorporation and flooding in others. Also I learned about a link between the lost town of Greenwich and my hometown through one collection of photos, which led to a link with my family. So that was cool.
So basically, fascinating if you're interested in the history of the Quabbin and already have a basic understanding of what happened. Maybe less so if you don't know the story or aren't interested in the first place. But I really enjoyed it.
