The Seventeenth Century

Great subject, poor delivery. You would think a book written about an extremely dynamic century in history would be exciting, captivating, or at the very least, interesting. This book was none of the above. Very dry, very boring, very, very long-winded. Just because it's a textbook doesn't mean it has to be dry.
