Bringing to light the reason why only 5% of white people even believe in reparations, this book provides the reader with the premises found in both arguments of whether reparations should be distributed and to what extent should they be distributed. The examples included of the Tulsa Riots (1921) to the anti-reparations arguments of David Horowitz titled Ten Reasons Why Reparations for Slavery Are A Bad Idea and Racist, Too illustrate the intense controversy still enshrouding the debate on the after effects of the institution of slavery.
