The dynamic between the three Chances adds an element of humor to this fast paced story as brother and sister joke with each other and convince their father to let them stay a part of the mission in a manner similar to most teens pleading to go to a movie on a school night. Since the story features both a boy and girl protagonist, it appeals to both genders.
