Traveling on into the Light and Other Stories
Some stories were stronger than others. Some had great messages, others were trying waaaaaaaay too hard. Some of them I couldn't ever get into or find interesting because I didn't find the characters interesting. Some of them, I liked the characters but hated the story.
This book is a real hit or miss. Overall, I enjoyed it, and there's definitely something worthwhile here as a coming-of-age story... but it also kind of follows the saccharine path of Chicken Noodle Soup for the Soul or fiction of that variety.
