To Cross a Line Book

I give this book a mediocre rating because i was not very interested in it when I was reading and I found myself not really getting into the story line. that being said I think that the book had a good plot to it just the background story and what not. Also I thought that egon was very brave in trying to get out of the country with out being noticed or geting killed and doing it by himself and my favorite part was when he was at the transfer house and the guy that was supposed to help him get over couldn't help him because he looked to young that showed to never give up and that if you keep trying he could get over the border and live.
