Having read a lot of trading books, I felt this book brings something needed to the table. The author delves into using your intuition and pattern recognition skills to spot chart patterns, in some cases, patterns too difficult to program. Many books go deep into the technical details attempting to program the patterns, which you can train yourself to spot in minutes. To me, augments the use of programming, allowing our natural ability to see complex patterns visually to find good trades, letting the computer grind through the repetitive stuff. In addition, the book covers many psychological pitfalls making profitable trading difficult. Good stuff. Those looking for a step-by-step approach would be more comfortable in a systems oriented book.
