Daddy's Little Girl: Stories of the Special Bond Between Fathers and Daughters Book

An adorable book full of little stories about the special bond between fathers and daughters. It could easily be read in one setting save for the fact that I kept finding myself crying when a story touched me and made me reflect in some way on my own daughter- my hopes and dreams for her and fears of failing her as a father. Each story may have a different perspective from either the life stage of the father/daughter relationship to being told from the father or daughters viewpoint. Many of the stories have short little statements about the father/daughter relationship that often is a proclamation of something a father or daughter has done or a nugget of inspiration. Certainly this book is not for every father as it is very much a 'warm and fuzzy' read but I found many of the stories inspirational in various ways. I gained some insight into myself and my bond with my little girl and some things that I can look forward to as a new father. I would say that this is a great gift for any new father who has a passion about his new daughter and a good read for all other fathers at other stages.
