Castles in the Air
I could not finish this book. And it started so great! After the first 50 pages or so things began to go wrong. The heroine is so annoying and selfish and I just couldn't find some aspects of her character believable, especially since she suffered a trauma. And some of the scenes seemed a little weird to me. The characters didn't react naturally and the dialogs weren't always that great. The hero is ok.
Maybe I should have finished it. Maybe it has a nice ending. But after forcing myself to read more than two thirds of the book I couldn't take it anymore.
And I really like Christina Dodd's regency books. I'm truly sorry I couldn't like this one. Well, maybe it's because when she wrote this she was a beginner.
