Fans of the housekeeper who takes everything literally will enjoy this story of Amelia Bedelia's trip to the art museum. There is a great deal here for Amelia to misconstrue, and there is much fun for the reader as problems involving priceless art, are created and solved, and, of course, the word "priceless" causes misunderstandings and the word "worthless" adds to the confusion. Amelia's head is spinning as she meets the director of the Museum named Art and a young artist named Drew. With her penchant for tidiness, Amelia cleans up a messy scene she comes upon thinking Art will appreciate her work. The scene, however, is a work of art titled Family Room and Amelia is chastised rather than praised. Later, however, Amelia saves the day and Drew is lauded for his talents, thanks to the little housekeeper. There is a lot of humor in her adventures in the museum, and she makes some pointed remarks about some of the "art" she sees on her outing. The result is a very amusing book.
