Hubiese esperado más detalles sobre Alan Turing . Nada sobre Robert Kahn o Vinton Cerf “los padres de internet “ , ninguna descripción del primer e mail que de envió letra a letra. Me pareció un fuerte sesgo hacia Microsoft / bill Gates en desmedro de Apple/ Steve Jobs ; de hecho hay un capÃtulo dedicado a bill Gates. A los Macintosh los presenta como productos solo de bonita estética y hace una mención que no he comprobado con otra fuente de que Microsoft/Gates colaboraron en la creación de IOS.
Nada de la “otra internetâ€, nada !
Pero por muy malo el libro - es muy breve además 60 páginas o asà - siempre se aprende algo. Asà Ada Lovelace la primera programadora o la existencia del premio Loebner que a través del test de Turing premiará a la primera AI que parezca humana (aún nadie lo ha ganado pero hay otras categorÃas del premio)
Para ser un libro de 2008 me sorprendió que mencionara la computación cuántica ; algo que yo pensaba más reciente . Tal vez solo se “equivoca†en la proyección de los teléfonos móviles que han tenido un meta crecimiento desde 2008 hasta ahora .
