The beginning of Peter David's fantastic run on X-Factor. (Well, two runs if you want to be picky.) Seriously funny. The only thing I don't like about it is David's retconning of my favourite Lockjaw story.

this is such a good beginning to peter david's x-factor. i really like the characterization of quicksilver in this, but i hate the way he's always given the WORST problems! i do like that what he's dealing with now has to do with his superspeed and isn't totally random like sometimes. i also thought the story of the multiple man (men?) was interesting. i've never read anything with the character but it really made me see how interesting he is. i know he has a new series starting and i am definitely going to have to read it thanks to this! the other characters are entertaining but....not super rememberable? alex and polaris argue like always, and "strong man" has a big fight but is mostly comic relief.
