The daughter of Jewish Latvian refugees, Pedon spoke fluent Portuguese and graduated from high school in 1972. She moved to San Francisco before eventually settling in Venice, California to pursue a modeling career.
She not only had a co-starring role in the enjoyable lowbrow comedy romp Delinquent School Girls and auditioned for the female lead in Buster and Billie , but also appeared in a few 8mm sex loops. Pedon retired from acting and modeling in the mid 1970s. She died at the tragically young age of 28 from liver disease on July 30, 1982, in Alameda County, California. Her nom-de-plume was "Melody O'Hare" which comes from the name of one of her best friends in junior high school.
