Richie Rich & Dollar the Dog Comic Books

Richie Rich & Dollar the Dog was a comic book published by Harvey Comics that ran for five years from September 1977 to August 1982 with a total of 24 issues.

Richard "Richie" $ Rich, Jr. (often stylized as Ri¢hie Ri¢h) is a fictional character in the Harvey Comics universe. He debuted in Little Dot #1, cover-dated September 1953, and was created by Alfred Harvey and Warren Kremer. Dubbed "the poor little rich boy," Richie is the only child of fantastically wealthy parents and is the world's richest kid. So rich, his middle name is a dollar sign, $.

Dollar is the pet dog of Richie Rich. He is referred to as a "Dollarmatian", which is a fictional variation of dalmatian, only his fur has dollar signs instead of spots. Dollar always accompanies Richie everywhere he goes, whether Richie tries to foil a crime, or on a rescue mission.

Dollar is obsessed with food, in the same manner as Scooby-Doo. He often tries to attempt a feat, only to become a flop. It can be inferred that Dollar attempts these feats just to show off.
