Muchas novelas contemporáneas hacen referencia a los cuentos de hadas, ya sea aludiendo, refiriendo, actualizando o tergiversandolas. Este libro trata de explicar por qué la importancia de los cuentos de hadas y de qué maneras siguen vigentes en nuestros dÃas. Me pareció un estudio muy bien hecho sobre la relación entre los cuentos de hadas y la novelÃstica contemporánea (particularmente en el mundo anglo sajón). Lo más importante es observar cómo las ideas más actuales en el estudio de los cuentos de hadas ayudan a entender la inclinación de varios autores y autoras hacia este tipo de textos, que es múltiple, diversa, amplia y compleja.
