Our Lady of the Lowriders
I won this book through the Goodreads First Reads. This was the first book I won that I was super excited to receive.
I typically read more then one book at a time. This ended up being my bath & bedtime reading material. That ended up being appropriate, cause I took my time with it.
I'm not one to reiterate the plot. The story was terribly engrossing. I felt drawn into the character's lives. I became really comfortable with them. I was very interested as to what would happen.
Every night, it was hard for me to tear myself away from the book. I'd stay in my bath til the water got cold or end up staying awake longer then I planned.
When I finally finished it, I felt quite sad to have left their world.
Doug Lambeth is an excellent writer. I look forward to reading more of his work.
