Matt, a gay thirty-something cartoonist, is tired of the reckless nature that encompasses his younger partners. Martin Yesterday, an openly gay, middle-aged politician, seems to be the key to Matt's pursuite in finding "real" love; however, Martin is not always forthcoming about his private life and holds some very dark secrets. Originally commissioned for the BBC Radio, and broadcast on CBC Radio, Martin Yesterday was nominated for the Sony Award for Best Radio Drama in London, England. The stage play premiered in Edmonton after a very different version was produced in Toronto. Future productions of Martin Yesterday are slated for Montreal, Houston, and Manchester, England.
