Therefore, if you're into a quickie for the day or would like to read a piece with extended details on the scenery, the touching, or the sex, there are enough different stories in this book to cater to how large or small your sexual appetite is at the moment.

Since this is a book centered on birthdays, the fun of the "birthday spanking" makes up a majority of the stories. As thrilling as it is to play up this concept (and the book does it well!), the stories become rather repetitive, especially since many of the writers also loved to add in the excitement of bondage. Of course, that doesn't mean that each story reads in the same way; in fact, the variety of settings, milieu, and characters will probably entice you to keep reading. To sum it all up, you could say that domination, in one form or another, dominates this book. Therefore, when reading, only take on a few stories at a time, that way, you can give yourself time to savor each moment without realizing that you just read about the same moment 20 minutes earlier.

Unfortunately, despite the myriad characters that are used in this book, most of the stories are from a female's perspective. Perhaps this is also another reason why the stories become rather repetitive, because not only is there someone being tied up, but it is usually also the girl who is bound to the bed before a partner enters the scene. There are a total of two stories near the end where a male is narrating or presented as the main character, and there are no stories about men having sex with men. TIn thoughe end, this book was more than likely written for a female audience, ; however, if the prevalence of female perspectives does not bother you, then by all means, pick this upbegin reading!
