An unedited hodgepodge of slim predictable Hollywood-centric stories and excerpts from novels. Doesn't seem like the author looked too hard or found the many brilliant but not so well connected LA based storytellers small &self-publishing. Why republish an excerpt from the legendary John Rechy's novel or screenwriters' laments? Many pieces needed rethinking & rewriting. Just one trip to the Liveria booth at the bookfair would have turned up some fascinating less connnected young writers worth including.
