I used this book as one my sources for a history essay. It is a good summary of the major events in Dian Fossey's life if one wants to get a basic, brief overall understanding of her life and legacy and the important people who played a role. It also highlights the most significant political movements that were occuring during her life which impacted her life at her research centres.
