Halloween Dogs Book

Just a real quick read that caught my attention since who doesn't like Halloween or dogs while combining them together makes for an adorable combination. Unfortunately this book has the cute dogs that will catch young readers' eyes but the story is quite lacking and not stimulating enough while the end is just a run into a blank wall with no resolution.

The book states that there are rhymes but if there were I didn't see much of them. Otherwise the writing is in bold and easy-to-read font that is mostly created of basic words. There are times when the author was able to use some creativity and made for an interesting addition to his words but otherwise the plot was a flop.

For a touch-type book this is also a giant fail. There weren't much textures that stood apart although it did make up for a great sensory book itself.

All in all a fun little book and totally unscary. Unlike you can work on making stories from the pictures yourself, which may capture your child's attention than this one is better left alone.
