About the Author: A U.S. Navy veteran, RICHARD J. PERRY is a longtime collector of illustrated graphics from the twentieth century. Beginning with a core group of early calendar art, Perry has expanded his collection to include war-related items, such as magazines, newspapers, advertisements, posters, and pin-ups-in short, any and all print material expressing America's patriotism. Perry makes his residence in the Pacific Northwest.
